Editorial Policy

Readers trust us with their dinner, their yarn and their weekend projects. This is how we try to deserve that.

How we choose what to feature

  • Mira cooks every recipe before it is published and reads every pattern or project before it is featured.
  • We look for clear instructions, a working link, a realistic difficulty level and a result we would be happy to make ourselves.
  • We favour patterns that are free to access. If something needs a purchase or sign-up, we say so.

Credit and sources

We publish our own projects and photos as well as round-ups of other designers’ work. When a pattern is not ours, it is credited to its designer and linked to the original page; we show one preview image and never reproduce the instructions. Designers can ask for a change or removal at any time on our copyright page.

Accuracy and updates

We revisit older posts to replace broken links and add new finds; the date under each title shows when a post was last updated. If you notice a mistake, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.

Recipes and safety

Recipes are written by home cooks with everyday kitchens in mind. They are not medical or nutritional advice. See our Disclaimer for important notes on allergens and food safety.

Advertising and affiliate links

Life With Mira is funded by advertising and occasional affiliate links. Advertisers do not choose or review our content, and we do not accept payment to include a pattern in a round-up. Sponsored content, if we ever publish it, will be clearly labelled.

Use of AI tools

We may use software tools, including AI, to help with tasks such as editing, organising and illustrating posts. People on our team choose what is featured and review what is published.

Who is responsible

Life With Mira is written and edited by Mira, with occasional help from guest contributors who are always named on the post. You can reach us through the contact page.
