Description

If you’re a fan of cinnamon rolls but don’t have the time (or patience) to make them from scratch, this Cinnamon Roll Casserole will change your breakfast game. It has all the gooey, warm cinnamon-sugar flavors you love in a roll, but in a comforting, spoonable bake that’s perfect for a weekend brunch or holiday morning. This easy recipe is perfect for quick breakfast ideas, lazy brunches, or cozy dessert-style food ideas. No kneading, no waiting—just an easy recipe ready in minutes that’s rich, warm, and satisfying.

Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing

4 large eggs

0.5 cup milk

0.5 cup heavy cream

0.25 cup maple syrup

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Open the two cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing. Cut each roll into quarters.

2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and arrange the quartered cinnamon roll pieces evenly in it.

3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

4. Pour the custard evenly over the cinnamon rolls. Let the dish sit for 10 minutes to soak.

5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and set in the middle.

6. Let cool for 5 minutes, then warm the reserved icing and drizzle over the casserole. Serve warm.

Notes

You can assemble the casserole the night before and bake it in the morning.

For added crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts before baking.

Swap maple syrup for honey or flavored syrup for a twist.
