Description

This Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole is the ultimate comfort food dinner idea! It layers creamy cheese, rich meat sauce, and tender spaghetti into a baked masterpiece with golden melted cheese on top. Perfect for easy dinner prep, family meals, freezer-friendly food ideas, or cozy Sunday gatherings. It’s budget-friendly, satisfying, and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

454g (1 lb) ground beef

340g (12 oz) spaghetti

115g (4 oz) cream cheese, softened

240g (1 cup) ricotta cheese

120g (1/2 cup) sour cream

225g (2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese

60g (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese

700g (24 oz) marinara sauce

28g (2 tbsp) unsalted butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and toss with butter. Set aside.

2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, and a pinch of salt until smooth.

4. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half the spaghetti. Spread all the cheese mixture on top. Add the remaining spaghetti.

5. Pour meat sauce over the top and spread evenly.

6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.

7. Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese for easy blending.

Don’t skip the resting time—it helps the casserole set for cleaner slices.

Great for make-ahead meals—freeze before baking for busy nights.
