Description

Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip is a warm, creamy, cheesy appetizer that turns simple ingredients into the kind of party dip everyone keeps scooping. This easy recipe is perfect for game day food, holiday appetizers, quick snack boards, potluck ideas, and cozy food ideas when you want something rich, bubbly, and crowd-friendly without a complicated prep.

Ingredients

10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

14 ounces canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease an 8-inch baking dish.

2. Thaw the spinach completely, then squeeze out as much liquid as possible.

3. Drain and chop the artichoke hearts into small bite-sized pieces.

4. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until smooth.

5. Fold in the spinach, chopped artichokes, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese until evenly combined.

6. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

7. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if using, and add a little extra mozzarella on top if desired.

8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.

9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with bread, chips, crackers, or vegetables.

Notes

Squeeze the spinach very well so the dip stays thick and creamy instead of watery.

Use softened cream cheese for the smoothest texture and easiest mixing.

For a golden top, save a little mozzarella and Parmesan to sprinkle over the dip before baking.
