  • Author: Mira
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 crunch wraps

Description

This Homemade Crunch Wrap Supreme is a crispy, cheesy, easy dinner packed with seasoned beef, nacho cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and a crunchy tostada shell folded inside a golden tortilla. It is perfect for quick dinner nights, taco night food ideas, fun family meals, easy recipe planning, and satisfying homemade fast food cravings without leaving the house.

Ingredients

4 large burrito-size flour tortillas

4 small flour tortillas or cut tortilla circles

4 tostada shells

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons taco seasoning

1/4 cup water

1 cup nacho cheese sauce

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

1 tablespoon cooking oil or butter

Instructions

1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.

2. Stir in taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the beef is coated and saucy.

3. Lay one large flour tortilla on a clean surface and spoon seasoned beef into the center.

4. Add nacho cheese sauce over the beef, then place one tostada shell on top.

5. Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

6. Place a small tortilla or tortilla circle over the toppings if needed, then fold the large tortilla edges toward the center in pleats.

7. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat and place the crunch wrap seam-side down.

8. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden, crisp, and sealed.

9. Serve immediately while the outside is crispy and the center is warm.

Notes

Use burrito-size tortillas so the wrap folds easily without tearing.

Keep tomatoes and lettuce as dry as possible to protect the crunchy tostada layer.

Cook seam-side down first so the folds seal before flipping.
