Whether you’re looking for a homemade bread recipe, a savory brunch idea, or something to round out your dinner spread, this focaccia checks every box. It’s simple, no-knead, and packed with flavor—ideal for both beginners and seasoned bakers.

Ingredients

4 cups bread flour

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons instant yeast

2 cups warm water

1/4 cup olive oil (plus more for pan)

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Flaky salt for topping

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine bread flour, salt, yeast, and warm water. Stir until no dry spots remain.

2. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise at room temperature for 8–12 hours until doubled and bubbly.

3. Grease a metal baking pan generously with olive oil. Transfer dough and gently stretch it to fit the pan.

4. Let the dough rest and rise again for 2 hours.

5. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

6. Use oiled fingers to dimple the surface of the dough without deflating it.

7. Melt butter in a saucepan, add minced garlic, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.

8. Pour garlic butter over the dough, letting it pool in the dimples. Sprinkle with flaky salt.

9. Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown and edges are crisp.

10. Let cool slightly, then slice and serve.

Notes

Use a metal pan for the crispiest crust—it makes a big difference in texture.

Don’t skip the overnight rise. It creates those perfect airy bubbles inside.

Always add the parsley after heating the garlic in butter to keep it fresh and vibrant.
