Description

These Easy White Chocolate Peppermint Pretzel Crisps are a quick dessert, easy holiday recipe, and fun sweet snack all in one. With crunchy pretzel crisps, smooth white chocolate, and crushed peppermint candies, this easy recipe is perfect for Christmas dessert boards, party food ideas, edible gifts, and last-minute holiday treats.

Ingredients

24 pretzel crisps

1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips or white melting wafers

3 candy canes, crushed

1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

1. Line a large tray or baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Crush the candy canes into small pieces and set them aside.

3. Add the white chocolate and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl.

4. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each one, until the chocolate is smooth.

5. Dip each pretzel crisp halfway into the melted white chocolate, or spoon chocolate over one side.

6. Place the coated pretzels on the lined tray.

7. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the chocolate before it sets.

8. Let the pretzel crisps sit at room temperature until firm, or chill them for 10 to 15 minutes to set faster.

9. Serve right away or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use white melting wafers if you want the smoothest coating and easiest melting.

Sprinkle the peppermint on immediately so it sticks before the chocolate firms up.

Store the pretzel crisps in a cool dry place to keep them crunchy.
