Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (16 oz)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan with butter or non-stick spray.
2. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
3. In a zip-top bag, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Add the dough pieces and shake to coat.
4. Layer half of the coated dough pieces in the pan.
5. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Pour half over the dough in the pan.
6. Repeat with the remaining dough and pour the rest of the butter-sugar mixture on top.
7. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is cooked through.
8. Let rest for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
9. Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
10. Drizzle glaze over warm monkey bread and serve.
Notes
Sticky is good—don’t overbake or it’ll dry out.
Use a spoon to help guide the glaze between pieces.
For a festive twist, add chopped pecans or mini chocolate chips between dough layers.
