Description
These Easy Crockpot Beef Tips & Noodles are the ultimate comfort food dinner. Perfect for busy nights, this easy recipe uses tender beef slow-cooked in a savory gravy, served over buttery egg noodles. It’s a hearty, cozy meal the whole family loves. Ideal for weeknight dinner ideas, quick crockpot meals, or no-fuss dinner ideas that feel like you spent hours cooking.
Ingredients
2 pounds beef stew meat or chuck roast cut into chunks
3 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
12 ounces egg noodles
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Brown the beef in a hot skillet with a little oil in batches until a crust forms.
2. Transfer the browned beef into the crockpot.
3. In the same skillet, add beef broth, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Scrape up any browned bits and let simmer.
4. Pour the mixture over the beef in the crockpot.
5. Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
6. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the crockpot in the last 30 minutes to thicken the gravy.
7. Boil egg noodles in salted water, drain, and toss with butter.
8. Serve beef tips and gravy over buttered noodles or mix together. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, always brown the beef before slow cooking—it’s worth the time.
To avoid mushy noodles, cook them separately and combine just before serving.
This dish tastes even better the next day, as the flavors deepen in the fridge.
