1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (for topping)
1/2 cup milk (for topping)
1/4 cup melted butter (for topping)
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft (3–4 minutes).
2. Sprinkle flour over aromatics, stir for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and milk until smooth. Simmer until thickened.
3. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Stir in shredded chicken and frozen vegetables. Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
5. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough evenly over the filling.
