Ingredients
1 roll refrigerated pizza dough
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and use a Christmas tree-shaped cookie cutter to cut out as many trees as possible.
3. Place the tree-shaped dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Spoon a little pizza sauce onto each tree, spreading it gently but leaving the edges bare.
5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella generously on top of each sauced tree.
6. Top with mini pepperoni slices, spacing them evenly.
7. Lightly brush the edges of each tree with olive oil.
8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden brown.
9. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Use a sharp cookie cutter and chilled dough for cleaner tree shapes.
Avoid watery sauces; thick pizza sauce works best to prevent soggy bottoms.
If using pre-shredded cheese, make sure it’s full-fat for optimal melting.
