Description

Sweet, crunchy, and irresistibly nostalgic, Chocolate Cornflake Cakes are the no-bake treat we all grew up loving. With only a few pantry ingredients and zero oven time, these classic cakes combine crispy cornflakes coated in silky, melted chocolate, creating the ultimate quick dessert for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

200 g milk chocolate

50 g unsalted butter

2 tbsp golden syrup

100 g cornflakes

Instructions

1. Line a muffin tin with 12 cupcake liners and set aside.

2. In a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, melt together the milk chocolate, butter, and golden syrup. Stir until smooth.

3. Remove from heat and gently stir in the cornflakes until fully coated.

4. Spoon the mixture evenly into the 12 liners and press lightly into shape.

5. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour or until completely set.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts or crispy rice cereal.

Want a festive twist? Top each cake with mini eggs or sprinkles.

Be sure to chill thoroughly for the best texture.
