Soft, chewy, and packed with gooey chocolate and rich peanut butter chips, these cookies are a dream for any cookie lover. They strike a perfect balance between sweet and salty, with melty pockets of chocolate in every bite and creamy peanut butter chips giving an extra nutty twist. Perfect for bake sales, quick breakfast, easy dessert ideas, or cozy food ideas at home, this easy recipe is a go-to for any cookie craving.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

0.75 cup granulated sugar

0.75 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2.25 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

0.5 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of unsalted butter with 0.75 cup granulated sugar and 0.75 cup packed brown sugar until light and fluffy.

2. Add 2 large eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Beat until combined.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2.25 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt.

4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.

5. Fold in 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup peanut butter chips.

6. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.

7. Scoop 2-tablespoon portions onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers look slightly soft.

9. Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for easier creaming and better texture.

Chilling the dough is key to getting thick, chewy cookies.

Don’t overbake — they will firm up as they cool.
