Description
Sweet, tart, and drenched in boozy bliss—these Boozy Cherry Bombs are a cheeky treat that spark up any gathering. Plump maraschino cherries are soaked in your favorite liquor, then coated in silky white chocolate and festive sprinkles. They’re simple, fun, and disappear fast!
Ingredients
1 cup alcohol (vodka or amaretto)
10 oz maraschino cherries with stems
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/4 cup sprinkles
Paper towels
Toothpicks
Instructions
1. Drain the maraschino cherries and place them in a bowl. Pour in the alcohol and soak for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours for stronger flavor. Cover and refrigerate during soaking.
2. After soaking, drain the cherries and gently pat them dry with paper towels to remove any moisture.
3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
4. Using a toothpick or the cherry stems, dip each cherry into the melted chocolate. Let the excess drip off, then dip into sprinkles or decorate as desired.
5. Place the coated cherries on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 20 minutes or until the chocolate is set. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
Use parchment paper to prevent sticking while the chocolate sets.
Don’t skip drying the cherries—excess liquid prevents the chocolate from adhering.
Customize with themed sprinkles for holidays or special occasions.
