Ingredients
12 slices salami or pepperoni, folded
12 fresh mozzarella balls
12 cherry tomatoes
6 marinated artichoke hearts, quartered
12 olives, kalamata or green
6 roasted red pepper strips, cut in half
12 fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons Italian dressing or olive oil
12 wooden skewers, 6-inch size
Instructions
1. Drain and pat dry all marinated ingredients, especially artichokes and mozzarella, to avoid soggy skewers.
2. Start each skewer with a cherry tomato or olive for visual appeal.
3. Fold a slice of salami and slide it on, followed by a mozzarella ball, an artichoke piece, and roasted red pepper.
4. Add a fresh basil leaf between items for contrast and aroma.
5. Continue layering until each skewer is full and balanced in texture and color.
6. Brush or drizzle Italian dressing over the finished skewers for extra flavor.
7. Chill for 15–20 minutes before serving or store up to 24 hours in the fridge with a paper towel lining the container.
Notes
Make sure your ingredients are dry before assembling to avoid sogginess.
Use short skewers for easier handling and serving.
Add variety by using prosciutto, grilled zucchini, or marinated mushrooms.
